In February,
The Obama administration wrote new regulations that require all religiously affiliated universities and hospitals that serve non affiliated persons to offer healthcare coverage that includes drugs that cause abortion.

In April,
The Obama administration announced that it would withhold some or all of Indiana’s Medicaid money in retaliation for Governor Mitch Daniels’s signing a law that prohibits state tax money from going to Planned Parenthood. Administration officials hope that by withholding federal Medicaid funds from Indiana, they will force the state to reinstate funding for Planned Parenthood.

By May,
President Obama’s Justice Department had brought civil lawsuits against at least six non-violent pro-life sidewalk counselors under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.

In May,
President Obama picked radical proabortion Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to be the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Wasserman-Schultz has been called a “heroine” by the president of Planned Parenthood and famously attacked former President George W. Bush for signing a bill that allowed the family of Terri Schiavo to fight in federal courts for her right to receive food and water.

In September,
the Obama administration unilaterally awarded a no-bid contract to Planned Parenthood in New Hampshire after the state’s Executive Council voted not to award Planned Parenthood a $1.8 million contract for family planning services.

In October,
the Obama administration pulled a $19 million grant from Catholic Relief Services to serve the victims of human trafficking because the Catholic agency would not refer women for abortions. The Obama administration made a new standing policy to give preference for Health and Human Services grants to organizations that offer “the full range of legally permissible gynecological and obstetric care.”

In November,
the Obama administration released emails under the Freedom of Information Act acknowledging that ObamaCare provides for abortion funding. The administration had staunchly denied this since the law was signed in March 2010.
